The Rochester-Area 20-Somethings (R.A.T.S.) is this community's group for 20- to 29-year-olds looking for social interaction, networking, and community service. We have events and activities that cater to all tastes, and encourage meaningful alternatives to the bar scene.
We support active lifestyles, and we're open to all men and women 20 to 29 years old. We are neither politically nor religiously affiliated, and we do not charge dues or joining fees. We're not just a social group, we're not just a networking group, and we're not just a volunteering group... we're all three at once!
We are committed to building Rochester's 20-something community, and in turn supporting Rochester's growth. Additionally, we will help our community by undertaking the occasional service project.
R.A.T.S. is the group for all 20-somethings wanting to make a difference in and with their lives, and we offer low-committal, fun, inexpensive activities to enjoy together!

Hey RATS!
RATS co-founder Laura here. We RATS people often get asked, “What’s the best event to come to if I’m new?” My first response is: All of them! After all, with 1,000 members, we get new RATS all the time.
(The most popular introduction is, “I’ve been receiving e-mails from you guys for __months/years, but this is my first event!”)
But if you’re looking for a completely casual, fun way to get involved in the group, I’d try a Game Night, which we hold about every month and a half at Spot Coffee. There’s no better way to have fun with strangers than over Pictionary. Trust us.
Have a great day, and see you out!
Laura
